Friend, if you’ve missed the recent newsletter announcements, let’s get you up to speed.
God has asked BIG things of me over the last year. In full transparency, I have not completed any of them.
I’ve attempted them, sure!
I’ve drafted blueprints. Sprinkled in brainstorming sessions. Yet right before I dare to hit “launch” I back out and run scared. 🤦🏻♀️
The only consistent thing I’ve done was continue the current work-in-progress.
Which is great! The book is almost done and closer to being in your hands!
But writing has not been the only thing God has asked of me.
He has asked me to → serve ← fellow writers and creatives.
Rather than walk in bold authority, confident of my calling, I tucked tail and hid.
I allowed fear and intimidation to be louder in my ear than the voice of God.
The Father, in His loving mercy, sat me down for a much-needed reality check.
Because what the Father has asked me to build has nothing to do with me and everything to do with YOU.
YOU have a special place in the Father’s heart, and He wants to see YOU well cared for.
Whether crafting your own stories or discovering what it means to deeply adore Christ Jesus, I want to see you thrive where God has placed YOU.
This means changes are coming—changes I hinted at over a year ago 🙈 and am finally gathering the courage to step into.
However, these authors have much opposition against them.
They’re struggling in deep, dark places of pain and insecurity. Arenas I’m well familiar with and places the Lord has brought mighty victory to in my life.
As such, the Father has placed a yearning in my heart to be a voice of hope and encouragement for these writers.
Not just with fun and inspiring newsletters but with writer cohorts and engaging opportunities to come alongside you as you wade through the trenches of publication.
As such, the Heart for Creatives podcast is officially live!

This episode is more than a piece of my heart—it’s a divine invitation. If you’re feeling a stirring in your heart for meaningful writing, then this message is one you don’t want to miss.
If you’re reading this, you are not here by accident. God has called you to a Spirit-led writing journey.
Fear, anxiety, depression, and self-doubt are chains that can keep us from casting our nets. But those disparaging voices are not from God.
Know this: God’s calling for writers doesn’t require perfection—it requires faith.
God helped you weave the net. Now He’s asking you to cast it.
Your book is not just a book—it is a net for harvest. It’s a piece of Kingdom storytelling that can:
The enemy wants to stop you, because your words matter. Your story has the power to reach those who are hurting and need the light of Christ.
In today’s episode, we discuss three spiritual states many Christian authors may find themselves in:
Where are you, dear writer?
It’s time to step into the freedom Jesus offers. This is your invitation to rise as a laborer in the harvest—to be a voice of hope.
Here’s what you can do today:
May this episode challenge you as it encourages. It’s time to move boldly in your calling. To write with God. To trust Him with the results.
No more muzzled mouths. No more hidden nets. It’s time to write for God’s glory.
If this message resonated with you, be sure to:
Your readers are waiting. The harvest is ready. Will you cast your net?
